Greg Osborn
Greg is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Middlebury Securities LLC and he brings over 20 years of business and financial experience to the team. As an investment banker at Drexel Burnham, Smith Barney, Paine Webber, Axiom Capital, Indigo Capital and now Middlebury Securities LLC, Greg has led teams in arranging private and public debt and equity financing in excess of $1 billion over the course of his career. He has extensive experience in many industry verticals and sub-verticals, Mergers and Acquisitions transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, LBOs, APOs and joint ventures. He has taken companies public and is a leader in deal structuring and negotiations.
Prior to founding Middlebury Securities LLC, Greg spent 8 years in investment banking on Wall Street. Subsequently, he founded Indigo Securities, the precursor to what is now Middlebury Securities LLC. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Celsia Technologies, Inc. and Idea Village, Inc. Furthermore, Greg served as a board member for the National Chicken Council in 2007 and 2008. Greg has also successfully run new business development and sales at three portfolio companies, including: Orbit Travel, Freeride Media and Tasker Corporation.
Some of Greg’s recent projects include: Celsia Technologies, Kinemed, Liquid Metals, Migo Software, Kismet International, Advanced Nanotech, Netwolves, Elite Pharmaceuticals, Aftersoft Group, Electronic Game Cards, Cipher Optics, Sino Clean Energy, Microcast, Orbit Networks, Care-packages.com, Ci4Net, AsiaNet, Kismet, Care Packages, and Perform.com. In every deal Greg is a trusted advisor and is often asked to be a board member and/or a senior advisor. He is an expert “connector” who has introduced and recruited Boards of Directors, executive management and led major strategic partnerships.
Greg earned his BS (with honors) from Ramapo College. He is a Board Member of The Children of Bellevue.
